Beginning April 1st 2022 our administration fees, when paying Steamship Line Per Diem invoices, will be increasing to 25% with a minimum of $35 per container.

However, if you would like to avoid the additional administrative fees, you may pay the invoice directly to the Steamship Line and provide proof of payment to Supra National Express.

FUEL SURCHARGE INCREASE MARCH/2022

Dear Supra Customers,

Supra National Express, Inc. has closely monitored California’s diesel fuel prices throughout 2022 and has assessed a 3.5% increase from January 2022 to today’s date. 

Beginning March 21th, 2022, our new fuel surcharge (FSC), at 38.5%, will apply to each load managed by Supra. FSC will remain in effect until further notice. The new FSC is effective immediately to any new quotations issued by Supra.

Our fuel surcharge policy is based on the California diesel fuel prices published by the U.S. Department of Energy: https://www.eia.gov/petroleum/gasdiesel/

Please feel free to use your account as often as you wish. Should your credit requirements change, or should you have any questions regarding your new account, call this office and ask to speak to Sindi Ayala or one of our account representatives can also assist you.

TEMPORARY ADJUSTMENT OF THE TMF AT PORTS OF LA/LB

From December 1, 2021, through January 31, 2022, the TMF will be $86.05 per TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) or $172.10 for all other sizes of container for non-exempt international container moves through the terminals at the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:59 p.m. Monday through Friday.

  • No appointment availability
  •  Driver hour restriction
  •  Dual transaction restrictions
  •  And any other conditions imposed by the terminal and/or Steamship Line.

Supra will not be held liable for any Per Diem charges that may incur.

DRIVER DOWNTIME ON ROAD-SERVICE CALLS

With chassis availability being limited, Supra is utilizing whatever units pass the base safety tests. The pool chassis companies do allow for repairs but not driver downtime.
Supra has had frequent chassis issues with pool chassis, and although the pool companies manage the roadside assistance, they do not account for driver downtime

Effective immediately, standard waiting time will apply for drivers that are waiting for Roadside assistance.

We foresee port congestion, lack of chassis equipment, and port driver shortage as ongoing issues for the remainder of the year.
Supra will continue to apply a port congestion fee of $150 that will apply to each order.
